Lucky 13

Today, Tung and I celebrate 13 years of being together. In the morning we got up, walked our dog, went to Home Depot, and did some gardening--caught in the ebbs and flows of our everyday life. Not until partway through the day did I realize that it was our anniversary, and that life with my husband, though it has gotten normal and comfortable, is still extraordinary.
